Better Than Enzymes

If you've ever used an enzyme-based product, you've probably noticed that its performance is uneven. That's because you're working with proteins that are programmed to literally "eat" very specific stain causing agents. If you have a stain problem they don't like - you're out of luck.

Problems with the enzyme approach:

• Composition of stain isn't a "food" they can digest. Typically, enzymes cannot attack a complex compound.  So most stains are out of their effective range.
• Enzymes can't survive in many environments. If the surface is cold or if there is any residual detergent or chemicals in the treated area, they will be neutralized before they can attack the stain.
• Enzymes will leave residue behind-another thing for you to clean up when they are done.
• Enzymes don't like many surfaces so if you have a deeply penetrated stain, don't count on it working.
• Enzymes have a limited shelf life and will degrade with time. What happens when you have a stain in three months, or the product was on the store shelf for three months before you bought it?
