The Musty Smell Problem

It's important to note, that in most cases, odor-causing mold & bacteria will not be present on these cold surfaces because they usually aren't condusive to their growth. But since nothing can stop the concrete from sweating, you'll have to continue to treat these surfaces to control the musty odor.

Soft Surface Treatment:

Make sure to treat all soft surfaces in the general vicinity because they will also be harboring musty smells. Simply spray the soft surfaces with ForceOut and rub in with your fingertips or use a soft brush to make contact with the odor molecules. If the musty smell is deep-set in cushions, you'll have to saturate the padding and thoroughly dry them out before using. Furthermore, after treating these surfaces, it's always a good idea to treat the air in the room by spraying ForceOut overhead to destroy any lingering odors.
