Use
ForceOut Odor Eliminator
to remove musty odor and musty smell from your basement and furnace.
To Eliminate Musty Basement Smells:
Musty
odors can be very tricky. First determine what is the cause of the
musty odor. In many cases, the musty odor is caused by an excessive
amount of moisture soaking through your basements concrete surfaces.
Make sure that the other soft surfaces (carpets, upholstery, drapes,
etc.) in the room haven't taken on the musty smell, too.
If
you determine that you are just battling a nuisance musty odor problem:
Spray ForceOut on all fowl smelling areas with a misting fogger.
This will ensure that the problem musty area's get treated correctly
and with a suffient amount of odor eliminator.
Spray:
Basement Walls, Closets, Rugs, Suitcases, Trunks, Boxes, etc. Wipe
down with a dry cotton cloth as needed. Air dry or use a fan or
blower. To freshen the air from musty odors, just hold bottle over
your head and spray towards the musty basement ceiling or any other
rooms with musty odors.
Musty
Furnace Odors
When changing out your old furnace filter, spray the new filter
with 6 - 8 trigger pulls per side. Place back into furnace and run
furnace fan for 10 - 15 minutes.
This
treatment works well to eliminate musty odors that are airborne
throughout the home. Repeat every two weeks to keep air fresh.
Hurricane
Water Damage
Because
of the current rash of hurricanes and torrential rain, we are getting
many questions about musty smells associated with water damage.
In most cases, this problem is very tricky to treat but can be accomplished
- with most of our customer's reporting great success.

in the field, report a great deal of success using ForceOut
Odor Eliminator with a fogger for household area's (large area's) and
then using straight ForceOut in power sprayers and spraying
it right into the outside wood surfaces of the home. This application
is effective in surfside homes where sea water penetrated the wood
and other materials from below the house. This application method
also includes crawl spaces that have taken on water and have become
musty, mildew smelling environments. |
